This is from a set of what will be 25 pieces, all based on the sounds of specific melodic intervals.
The sound of the ascending tritone is favoured throughout this piece. It contains many other intervals as well, as you'll hear, but the ascending tritones are the ones that are guiding my decisions about where the music is going.
