The identifiers (i.e. nationality, gender, etc.) were chosen through the lens of the ASAP team, and were gathered from public information, such as composer’s websites, program notes, and publisher, as well as in collaboration with living composers. We try to be as sensitive and inclusive as possible throughout this process, and have no intention in misrepresenting anyone. We have contacted the living composers in our database for their approval and input. We are happy to remove and/or change any incorrect or unwanted information.
